I also like to read books, write poetry and short stories, and listen to music. Without music, I do not know what I would be doing right now. Music helps you think, it helps your mind wander, and without it our insanity might just stick out that much more.

Inspiration

The book of James
Who knew there were so many good lessons in the bible? With all that old fashioned lingo!?
I have this book called “If the tongue’s a fire, who needs salsa?” It entails advice based on the book of James. It is a good book. and it is not one f those books where you read from start to finish in one day, it is best to read one “chapter” or one topic a day. I highly suggest going to the nearest Christian store and purchasing it. I enjoy reading mine every once in a while before going to bed! The author is Martha Bolton, just in case you need some extra help finding it.

Today’s Mass
There were some really good lessons in today’s readings, psalm and gospels. I even made sure to remember the book and the chapter! Matthew chapter 6 verses 24-34. Here is a tidbit of the passage. If you want more, here is your chane to go find it yourself!
Verses 33 & 34 “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousnes, and all these things will be given you besides. Do not worry about tomorrow; tomorrow will take care of itself. Sufficient for a day is it’s own evil.”
I also like verse 27, “can any of you by worrying add a single moment to your lifespan?” That quote can really be looked at in anyway!
The passage in it’s entirety is talking about how we worry about having all this money and food and clothes. When all we really need is God and he will take care of the rest for us! We should not worry about all of it because God will provide it for us!
Hebrew 4:12 was also part of the mass today. It was worded differently though so it was easier to understand. But I think that the way I applied it to myself Iis different than how it was supposed to be interpreted.
